AIR Technologies Names Don Self to President

Don Self brings nearly three decades of experience to his leadership role; takes over for longstanding president Jeff Lipscomb

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (September 30, 2024) – AIR Technologies, a leading provider of Mechanical/HVAC services to commercial and industrial buildings throughout the greater Oklahoma City region, is pleased to announce the appointment of Don Self to President. Don will assume the position following the retirement of AIR Technologies’ long-serving President, Jeff Lipscomb.

In his new leadership role, Don will oversee all company operations and provide leadership within design-build, maintenance agreements, sales, and project management. With over two decades of experience in the HVAC/Mechanical industry, Don has been instrumental in driving AIR Technologies' growth and continued success.

Don joined AIR Technologies in 2002 and has been a key contributor to the company's success, most recently serving as Operations Manager. With a strong background in project management, safety training, and day-to-day operations, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout his tenure at the company. As President, Don will continue to drive AIR Technologies’ mission of providing top-tier HVAC/Mechanical services throughout the greater Oklahoma City region.

Don holds an HVAC Technician certification from Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He also possesses Oklahoma Masters Mechanical Licenses, as well as an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification.
